Copied detail-for-detail from a very rare collector’s original, our new shelter halves are made from 8.5 oz 100% cotton duck. With two different colorways, plain buttons, and a staggered button configuration. Unlike the standard issue shelter halves found elsewhere, these are a unique part of WWII USMC history. We have made, and will continue to make, several configurations of these shelter halves. But this one is primarily for collectors, even though we have been criticized by some for making these rare items, because they sometimes end up at militaria shows as originals after they have been aged. Not that this is our intention, but rather that we contribute a variety of items to appeal to a variety of interests.
