We originally made these reversible HBT jump jackets for US Cavalry (the iconic military store) back in the 1980s/90s from an original uniform that we were given to copy. We got the contract because they knew that we would bend over backwards (which is what you have to do on these) to get all these patterns to work together and sewn correctly. Making all the pockets and snaps work together functionally. Not to mention the authentic wartime black enameled snaps and zinc-plated underparts that we also had to make up.

This model 3 uniform jacket was the replacement for the previous step-in camo uniform (that we also make). They were worn by special USMC units in the Pacific, including Paratroopers, Recon units, and others. They were the few Marine jump uniforms that actually saw combat in WWII, then after the war, in other places not found in the history books
