Replicated detail-for-detail from a unique original that was made during the war years when many uniform and gear productions had to be made from what was in stock to get it to the troops in the field on time. Many of these anomalies have become “collectors’ items” and have a value beyond their usual value. This particular shelter half was made from four different print versions of “Frogskin” camouflage fabric: One version on the brown side and three different printing versions of the green camo pattern on the other.
Simply put, these shelter halves are beyond Authenticity, they are a real collector’s item and conversation piece and will go up in value over time.
