WWII 3RD MODEL LUFTWAFFE SUMMER FLIEGER JERKIN Probably the rarest piece of luftwaffe flying clothing. We have taken notes from countless photos, close-ups, and from discussions with world re-known Luftwaffe historian-collector(probably the No.1 in the world) George Peterson. Exact as an original. This is an accurate replica in all features. It is made of white cotton twill unlined except for sleeve lining and inner wrist guantlets . The interesting part of this piece is the hand woven button loops at the edge of the collar(which we have included).It has a grey leather oxygen tab on the chest.Leather washers behind all of the snaps. This jacket is only seen on the Eastern front starting in the summer of 41' and is seen only for a very short time. Worn by famous aces of the Jagd geschweder units. It is in my opinion, the smartest jacket ever worn by a luftwaffe pilot. It has grey resin buttons on cuff and behind the collar (which are secured by two black resin buttons on the collar face). The maker tag is sewn to the wind flap. An enlisted man breast eagle can be enclosed or sewn on the jerking only at customers request, no eagle will be sewn on or enclosed if not requested.
